JAKARTA - Lawyer Indra Tarigan, who had become a DPO, was finally detained by the Attorney General's Office and the DKI Jakarta High Prosecutor's Office after being found guilty of defamation for insulting Nikita Mirzani's minor child.

"Tuesday, July 4, 2023 at around 12.30 WIB, and at the DKI Jakarta High Prosecutor's Office, the Attorney General's Office for Fugitive Arrest (Tabur) Team together with the Tabur Team of the DKI Jakarta High Prosecutor's Office and the South Jakarta District Attorney's Executing Team, managed to secure fugitives who were included in the People's Wanted List (DPO) from the South Jakarta District Attorney," based on a statement released by VOI, Tuesday, July 5.

Nikita Mirzani looks satisfied with the detention of Indra Tarigan. Through his Insta Story upload, the mother of three sarcastically congratulated the lawyer, known for his long hair look. 'Congrats! Who else wants to follow?' wrote Nikita.

He also uploaded several reports reporting on the detention of Indra Tarigan. Although the lawyer had become a DPO, Nikita Mirzani was satisfied and thanked the prosecutor's office.

"Alhamdulillah, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to @kejaksaan.ri @jaki._jakarta_selatan, finally I get justice in the country of our beloved Indonesian republic," wrote Nikita in her upload caption.

Nikita Mirzani also said that Indra Tarigan, who had been detained, would serve a prison sentence of 1 year and 8 months.

"INDRA TARIGAN'S CONVICT has been detained as of today on July 4, 2023 and has to serve a sentence of 1 year and 8 months in prison at the Cipinang prison detention center, for his actions of bullying my minor through his personal social account. And hopefully this can be a lesson for social media users to be smarter in posting something and have no regrets at a later date after the report goes to the police station," he said.

With the detention of Indra Tarigan, Nikita stated that it is only natural for those who are guilty to be punished.
