McDonald's Rawamangun Fast Food Restaurant Raided By Students, Police: Solidarity Against Palestine

JAKARTA - The boycott of McDonald's fast food restaurant began on Pemuda Raya Street, Rawamangun, Pulogadung District, East Jakarta on Wednesday night, November 22. A group of people visited a fast food restaurant outlet which he considered one of the Israeli products.

"They are concerned demanding that McDonald's be closed," said Pulogadung Police Chief Kompol Sutrisno to VOI, Tuesday, November 22, evening.

A group of mobs who boycott came from UIC Pulomas students. They held a demonstration related to solidarity with Palestine against Israel.

"It's an unras student related to solidarity with Palestine against Israel. There was no fatal damage. They kicked the McD logo. But iron, so it wasn't damaged," he said.

The demonstration was only able to be disbanded at around 20.30 WIB.

"McD was closed during the demonstration," he said.

Meanwhile, the Pulogadung Police are still guarding the scene.
