Ambulance Driver Claims To Be Beaten By TNI Personnel In Matraman

JAKARTA - A video recording shows a commotion between an ambulance and a motorcyclist. The two are fighting over a fast lane on Jalan Bypass Ahmad Yani, Matraman, East Jakarta.

The motorcyclist who claims to be a member of the TNI is carrying his wife and baby. They were almost grazed by an ambulance that was in a hurry at that time.

Dalam rekaman terlihat, mobil ambulance memberi suara buruk hingga mengejut anak bayi yang dibondung si pengendara motor.

"The motorbike cut the speed from the left and went straight to the right, causing the car to brake suddenly. The car turned the horn so the motorcyclist did not accept the horn," wrote the caption.

Then there was an argument between the two at the Postpol Sub-Sector office in the Matraman area.

"After arriving at the police station, the crew (ambulans) got a bogem (beat) front by the motorcyclist," wrote the caption.

Subsequently, an unknown person suspected of being a colleague of the motorcyclist came back. The ambulance driver was intimidated until he was beaten.

"When I was beaten by a member of the TNI, the guard at the post approached and it turned out that he was a friend of the TNI members. So there was intimidation against me. And the individual immediately pushed me and said, 'HAJAR AJA, GULUNG AJA," wrote the victim in his upload.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Matraman Police, Iptu Mochamad Zen, already knew about the information. They admitted that they would conduct an investigation.

"The crime scene will be checked again," he briefly told VOI, Tuesday, November 22.
