UAS Calls On The Public To Maintain Order In The 2024 Election, Reminds Not To Be Tempted By Money Politics

JAKARTA - Ustaz Abdul Somad (UAS) admitted that in his lecture he always invited the public to maintain order and not to be divided even though the different choices had to realize the next 2024 election which was safe and peaceful.

This was revealed by UAS to the Head of the Nusantara Cooling System (Kaops NCS) of the National Police 2023-2024, Inspector General Asep Edi Suheri and his entourage at the Nurul Azhar Islamic Boarding School, Rumbai, Pekanbaru.

"Always in the dawn study, tabliq akbar dzuhur, evening studies, at stadiums, in mosques, fields, I still insert the order to participate in the democratic party, don't get involved, use the right to vote, don't be tempted by money politics, keep order to maintain security, that's our endeavor," UAS said in a statement quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, November 21.

Since being active in preaching in the community, UAS has always advised the public to maintain the integrity of the nation, maintain brotherhood and togetherness as children of the nation.

In addition, UAS invites the public to exercise their voting rights in democratic parties. According to him, this could determine the fate of the Indonesian nation in the next five years.

"Use the right of five minutes to determine the next five years. Even though in the morning there are people who garden, cut rubber, cut palm oil, read Korans, pray at dawn, remember, use the right to vote according to their conscience in the direct, general, free, secret, honest and fair elections. If someone plays money politics, take the money, don't copy the person," said UAS.

Meanwhile, Inspector General Asep Edi explained the purpose and purpose of arriving with his entourage in touch with UAS to maintain national unity and integrity.

Although in the election, people will have different choices, don't be divided.

"The National Police always invites the active role of the community, especially religious leaders, to keep the 2024 election safe and peaceful," he said.

Asep also expressed his gratitude for the good response from UAS.

"Alhamdulillah, UAS welcomes our intentions and goals in carrying out the task of the Operation Nusantara Cooling System to cool the atmosphere ahead of the election. So that people are not divided, maintain national unity and integrity and realize safe and damic elections," said Asep.
