Prosecutor's Office Investigate Allegations Of Corruption In Bengkulu DPRD 2022-2023 Pokir Funds
BENGKULU - The Bengkulu High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) is investigating allegations of corruption in the principal fund (pokir) of Bengkulu DPRD members for the period 2022-2023. The investigation was carried out after reports from the public.
"There are reports of entry that have been positioned by the leadership into the field of pidsus. Many have been reported, one of which is the pokir fund that was submitted earlier," said Head of the Investigation Section of the Bengkulu Attorney General's Office, Danang Prasetyo, in Bengkulu City, Tuesday.
Danang said the Bengkulu Attorney General's Office followed up and examined the evidence that had been received.
"We will definitely follow up and review the limits on which the strength of the evidence is and will take a stand. Follow-up is certain, summons to related parties will be made and reports received regarding problems in Bengkulu Province," he said.
Previously, the Bengkulu People's Defenders Front (FPR) held an action to feel at the Bengkulu Prosecutor's Office and the Bengkulu Province Communication and Information Office (Kominfo).

In this action, the Bengkulu FPR submitted 14 demands and two important points, namely for the Bengkulu Attorney General's Office to immediately follow up on allegations of corruption in the publication funds and the pokir of DPRD members at the Bengkulu Province Kominfo Office for the 2022 and 2023 fiscal years.
Then urged the Bengkulu Attorney General's Office to thoroughly investigate allegations of corruption that occurred at Kominfo Bengkulu related to the publication budget which seems to be controlled by certain elements.
"We want the Bengkulu High Prosecutor's Office to immediately follow up on cases of alleged corruption related to the publication funds and basic thought funds in the Bengkulu Province Kominfo," said Action Field Coordinator of the Metrozi Herawan Section.
