Yenny Wahid Socializes Ganjar-Mahfud To PMI In Malaysia, Reminds To Choose A Presidential Candidate With A Voice Of The Heart

JAKARTA - The Advisory Board of the National Campaign Team (TPN) Ganjar-Mahfud, Zannuba Ariffah Chafsoh or Yenny Wahid, socialized the presidential-vice presidential candidate pair Ganjar Pranowo and Mahfud MD to Indonesian migrant workers in Malaysia.

"So if you decide to choose Ganjar-Mahfud, it will certainly be the voice of our hearts. There is no need to badmouth other candidate pairs," Yenny said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, November 20.

Yenny explained that all presidential candidates participating in the 2024 General Election are the nation's best sons. However, the most important thing is to match the heart.

He also quoted the statement of the Prophet SAW in choosing a leader to follow the word of the heart because the heart knows good and bad, and cannot be deceived.

"All leaders have strengths and weaknesses. We support their advantages, we fix their weaknesses. At all times we need their leaders and in today's times we need leaders who work quickly and are committed to law enforcement," he asserted.

In the future, continued Yenny, Indonesia's economy can grow better and create more jobs, if the situation is conducive in the community is maintained, the country is safe and there are no illegal levies.

This can be created if support is given to the Ganjar-Mahfud pair.

"If you think about it intellectually, Pak Ganjar likes to run fast, the person is close to the people so he wants to listen to the voices of the people's hearts," he said.

Meanwhile, the figure of Mahfud MD who accompanied Ganjar was a cadre of the 4th President of the Republic of Indonesia KH Abdurahman Wahid (Gus Dur).

"Mr. Mahfud MD directly trained Gus Dur. The people are brave, the people have a commitment to law enforcement, honesty and anti-corruption," said Yenny who is also Gus Dur's daughter.

Yenny said the Ganjar-Mahfud pair will continue the good program that has been built by President Joko Widodo and will improve things that are considered lacking.

The KPU on November 14, 2023, appointed three pairs of presidential and vice presidential candidates to participate in the 2024 General Election.

The three of them are the Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar pair with serial number 1, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka number 2, and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud number 3.

The KPU has also set a campaign period from November 28, 2023 to February 10, 2024, then the voting schedule will be on February 14, 2024.
