SERANG - An individual Principal of the State Elementary School (SDN) in Carenang District, Serang Regency, with the initials AS (54) was named a suspect in the alleged molestation case against his students. Kasatreskrim AKP Andi Kurniady, said that this school principal was secured by the Serang Police Women and Children Protection Unit (PPA) at his home on Tuesday night. "We have named AS as a suspect," said Andi, quoted by ANTARA, Friday, November 17. Andi explained that the alleged immoral case was revealed after the school principal was reported on suspicion of sexual abuse by his students on October 9. The victim received harassment on September 28. "The victim's mode was called by the suspect to follow multiplication learning in the reported room. However, the suspect was hugged by the suspect from behind and squeezed the victim's breasts," he explained. He revealed that after receiving abuse from the principal, the victim cried and was traumatized. Parents who suspected of changing his child's behavior then urged the victim to tell a story. "After school the victim looked gloomy and did not want to speak to his parents. When asked only answered it was okay," he said. Andi explained, from the results of the examination, the suspect's actions were carried out because he was forced to do this act.

"From the results of the examination, it was revealed that there were six other victims. And now the suspect has been detained at the Serang Police Detention Center," he said. For his actions, AS was charged with Article 82 paragraph (1) of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 17 of 2016 concerning the Second Amendment to Law Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection.
