As Jambi's agent, Habib emphasized that he had deposited funds for the departure of the congregation to PT MSI Tour Pusat worth Rp1.2 billion.
In his report to the Jambi Regional Police, Habib brought a number of evidences such as plane tickets that were crashed which were sent by the owner of PT MSI to him, proof of the transfer of funds from the congregation and evidence of his conversation with the owner of PT MSI.
Previously, Habib said that the owner of PT MSI had asked for time to return the funds but until the time limit determined by the travel owner had not returned the funds.
This incident began when there were 42 worshipers from Jambi who could not return to their homeland because the owner of the Umrah trip from Jepara did not have a flight ticket from Jeddah to Jambi on November 4, 2023.
From that incident, Habib as Jambi's agent took the initiative to buy a congregational plane ticket using his personal funds considering that he and dozens of other worshipers no longer allowed to wait without uncertainty.
