The Corruption Court For The Free Verdict Of The Kendari Regional Secretary Ridwansyah Taridala In The Alfamidi Outlet Permit Gratification Case
The panel of judges at the Corruption Court at the Kendari District Court has acquitted the Kendari City Regional Secretary Ridwansyah Taridala in the case of alleged gratification of permits for Alfamidi outlets, PT Midi Utama Indonesia."Today's agenda is the reading of the verdict against Ridwansyah Taridala and Syarif Maulana, but we do it one by one," said Kendari Tipikor District Court Chief Justice Nursina in Kendari, as reported by Antara, Friday, November 10.Nursina said that the defendant Ridwansyah Taridala in his duties as Head of the Kendari City Regional Planning and Development Agency (Bappeda) did not violate his duties in his work regarding the alleged gratification of PT MUI supermarket permits."On the basis of the considerations that were heard during the trial which took place from beginning to end, the panel of judges decided that the defendant Ridwansyah Taridala was declared free and all matters relating to his good name were immediately restored," said Nursina.Previously, Ridwansyah Taridala was sentenced to 4 years and 6 months in prison by the public prosecutor of the Southeast Sulawesi High Prosecutor's Office for violating Article 12 Letter e and Article 11 of the Anti-Corruption Law in conjunction with Article 56 of the Criminal Code.The Southeast Sulawesi Prosecutor's Office also detained Kendari City Regional Secretary Ridwansyah Taridala (at that time still Head of Bappeda) at Kendari Class II A State Detention Center after being named a suspect in a corruption case of accepting bribes or gratuities in the process of granting a supermarket permit.
The determination of Ridwansyah as a suspect in the alleged bribery case was based on the letter of determination of the suspect Number: B-03/P.3/FD.1/03/2023/ on March 13, 2023.
