The Electability Of Ganjar-Mahfud Decreases, PDIP Politicians Allude To The 2024 Election Starting From Legal Smuggling
PDI-P politician Masinton Pasaribu, responded to the results of the Indonesian Poltracking survey which put Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD in second place with 30, 1 percent electability.
The Ganjar-Mahfud survey is also said to have decreased compared to before registering with the KPU.
"This is still very volatile," Masinton said in a survey discussion held by Poltracking Indonesia, Friday, November 10.
Masinton then mentioned the decision of the Constitutional Court (MK) which resulted in the dismissal of its chairman because it was proven to have violated the code of ethics on the decision related to the lawsuit for the age limit of the vice presidential candidate.
The decision is considered to pass the eldest son of President Joko Widodo Gibran Rakabuming Raka to run as a vice presidential candidate in the upcoming 2024 presidential election. The PDI-P legislator considers that the 2024 election has started with a legal'smuggling'.
"Recently, what the public has questioned is about the existence of elements, if I discuss it, there is an element of smuggling, of the Constitutional Court's decision," said Masinton.
"We will see how a rule can be hit and then the smuggling occurs. Of course for me this election has begun with a start that has the potential for law smuggling," he added.
According to Masinton, the decision of the Honorary Council of the Constitutional Court (MKMK) which stated that there were violations would affect public perceptions of the electability of candidate pairs.
Therefore, the DPR member of the DKI Jakarta electoral district invites all parties to jointly maintain the election not only as a five-year contestation event. However, to choose and give birth to a legitimate leader.
"The election can respect the process, be honest, fair and reliable. And the elections that take place without the interference of state power. This must be our main concern in organizing this 5-year democratic momentum," said Masinton.

"We take care, it takes place fairly, fairly and trustedly so that the results can give birth to legitimate leadership in front of the people," he concluded.
