The Solo PDIP Office Was Visited By The Police, Hasto: We Form A Legal Team To Conduct Advocacy
TANGERANG - Secretary General (Secretary General) of the PDI-P (PDIP) Hasto Kristiyanto responded to the police raid to the Solo PDIP DPC office.
Hasto assessed that the arrival of the officers was a form of intimidation. According to him, not only visited the Solo PDIP DPC office, the police also raided PDIP headquarters in other areas.
"In some places there are police officers who come to party offices who carry out functions that have nothing to do with the function of the Police asking how many times the meeting is, ask those who attend, all of them are really intimidating," Hasto told reporters at UMJ, Ciputat, South Tangerang, Thursday, November 9
Hasto said PDIP had taken a stand by forming a legal team to advocate for the alleged abuse of power.
"So we immediately acted and formed a legal team to advocate, by looking at the massive tendency to abuse of power," he said.
Hasto also invited all parties to oversee the political situation and conditions ahead of the 2024 General Election to reflect on what was experienced at the PDIP headquarters, which allegedly originated from acts of abuse of power.
"So there are precases from pro-democracy figures to present jurdil (honest and fair) election supervisors," he said

Previously it was reported that the PDIP DPC Office in Solo was suddenly campaigned by the police yesterday. The former Deputy Mayor of Solo who is also the chairman of the Solo PDIP DPC, FX Hadi Rudyatmo, assessed that this action was an attempt to intimidate his party.
"I think this is unnatural because whatever the state apparatus does, including the TNI, Polri, ASN, if there is no activity to stop by at the DPC, it is not natural. That afternoon," said Rudy in Solo, Wednesday, November 8.
"If the DPC has been visited by the police, people will judge this as a form of intervention, intimidation so that people are afraid of going to the DPC, that's not true. Whether it wants to be alone or I'm told I don't know," he continued.
