PPP Trains Witnesses To Watch Votes At The 2024 Election TPS
JAKARTA - PPP General Chair Muhammad Mardiono stated that his party is training witnesses to monitor votes given by voters at polling stations (TPS) in the 2024 General Election.
"God willing, this will be part of PPP's readiness nationally. We will control witnesses to be ready to reach the DPC, PAC, branch level. So that each TPS is really responsible, supervising the results of the votes given by the people," he said in a written statement, Thursday, November 9, which was confiscated by Antara.
PPP held a training of training of election witness institutions for representatives throughout Indonesia. A number of materials were prepared for three days, 8-10 November 2023. The materials included the basic capabilities of witnesses, demonstrations of witnesses using the digital application system owned by PPP to securing post-calculation votes at TPS.
"This activity has been scheduled, exercises are carried out for representation throughout Indonesia and received training from DPP by resource persons. Then, witnesses are equipped with the use of digital applications that have also been prepared," he explained.
Mardiono stated that this activity was part of PPP's readiness to face the election. Because, witnesses are an important part of maintaining the vote acquisition obtained at the polling station.
