BPBD: 520 Residents In 14 Districts Affected By The M 6.6 Kupang Earthquake
The Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) said that 520 residents of Kupang Regency were affected by an earthquake with a magnitude (M) of 6.6.
"Based on temporary data from residents affected by the earthquake on Thursday (November 2) in Kupang Regency, there were 520 residents," said Head of BPBD Kupang Regency, Semi Tinenti in Kupang, Friday, November 2, which was confiscated by Antara.
He said the victims affected by the M 6.6 Kupang earthquake that occurred on Thursday 2 November at 05.04 WITA were spread across 14 sub-districts.
The sub-districts are Oemabi Oefeto Timur, Amarasi, South Amarasi, East Amarasi, West Amarsi, Central Amfoang, Southwest Amfoang, Northwest Amfoang, Fatuleu, East Amfoang.
In addition, according to Semi Tinenti, the victims of this earthquake were also found in East Kupang, West Kupang, Central Kupang, Nekamese and Taebenu sub-districts.
"There are 27 villages in 14 sub-districts affected by this earthquake," said Semi Tinenti.

He said that in the earthquake, 104 houses in 27 villages in Kupang Regency were damaged.
According to Semi, the earthquake with the epicenter of the earthquake in Kupang Regency caused 29 units of government offices located in the Oelimsi Civic Center area of the capital city of Kupang Regency to be damaged.
In addition, according to him, there are 11 units of public facilities, such as churches and school buildings, as well as the Bank NTT office building in Oelamasi which also suffered damage due to the earthquake with M 6.6.
An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.6 rocked a number of districts in NTT such as Kupang Regency, Kupang City, Sabu Raijua and East Sumba and Alor Regency on Thursday at 05.04 WITA with a depth of 10 kilometers and the location of the earthquake was 24 kilometers southeast of Kupang City-NTT.
