GBK Improves To Prepare Coldplay Concerts In Jakarta

JAKARTA - Coldplay Concert at Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK), Central Jakarta is just counting days. Chris Martin cs will appear on November 15.

Meanwhile, several changes were made by SUGBK to prepare for the Coldplay concert later. This is done for the convenience of concerts and meets standard operating procedures (SOP) from the promoter.

Bangun Didik as Head of the SUGBK Unit said the bench in the south tribune area must be removed to meet the SOP.

"For the south tribune, the bench was removed for preparation for the Coldplay concert, as a route for the evacuation area," said Bangun Didik to the media crew in SUGBK, Central Jakarta, Monday, October 30.

"From the promoter's SOP, there must be an evacuation route. So, the stands are removed, and later they will be returned to their original state of life," he continued.

Meanwhile, the southern tribune is also used as a backstage area, where the stage will be right in front of the south tribune door.

Later, the audience will be in the north, west, east, and part of the field area and run track.

SUGBK has also prepared special protective guards to protect the grass and running track.

"It can be seen, there is a new grass cover. GBK bought it directly from UK (England). From our side, we bought the grass cover directly according to their request," said Bangun Didik.
