3 Presidential Candidates In 2024 Invited By Jokowi To Meet At The Merdeka Palace Monday Afternoon
JAKARTA - Secretary General of the NasDem Party Hermawi Taslim revealed that three presidential candidates (candidates) will meet with the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi) for lunch today at 11.30 WIB. "Three presidential candidates were invited to the Palace today without a candidate for vice president (cawapres) at 11.30 WIB," said Hermawi when contacted by ANTARA in Jakarta, Monday, October 30. This is because President Jokowi once said that he supports the three candidates for the good of the nation. The three presidential candidates will be Ganjar Pranowo, Anies Baswedan and Prabowo Subianto. "So this afternoon all three were invited to the palace. Perhaps this is a form of support in question," he explained. The General Election Commission (KPU) has received registration of three pairs of candidates for president and vice president for the 2024 presidential election, namely Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar, Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD, as well as Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka. Anies-Muhaimin's Association was promoted by the NasDem Party, the National Awakening Party (PKB), the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS), and the Ummat Party. The Ganjar-Mahfud pair was carried by the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP), the United Development Party (PPP), the Indonesian Unity Party (Perindo), and the People's Conscience Party (Hanura).
