Middle-aged Man Recording Employee's Body Was Known By His Face By TransJakarta Bus Passengers

JAKARTA - The man who recorded the body of a female employee while on the TransJakarta T11 bus on the Senayan Roundabout - Poris Plawad route, has been recognized by many passengers. This was said by Yossi, as the victim.

"It turns out that the perpetrators like to hang out in Blok M. The perpetrators also like to go around (passing) Busway. So there are (other TransJakarta passengers) who often see)," said Yossi, a victim of harassment in Transjakarta to VOI, Sunday, October 29.

The victim explained that some of his colleagues even recognized the faces of the perpetrators who were considered to often take Transjakarta buses.

"One of my friends is that his mobility continues to ride TransJakarta. He often sees the face of the perpetrators," he said.

Yossi also said that usually she is always in a special area for women. However, because at the time of the incident the condition of the TransJakarta bus specifically for women was so crowded that the victim was not in a special area for women.

The victim considered that the perpetrator was already proficient in recording videos of harassment against his target.

"The thing is, the video looks standard (exact). Even though it's really crowded, walking is difficult but this can be really steady. From the video taken (the perpetrator) it should have been frequent," said the victim.

Meanwhile, when he was secured at the Transjakarta office, the perpetrator admitted to the officers that he was walking.

"But it's a bit strange too, he's in middle age but walking alone, (while recording) videos of people," he regretted.

The victim hopes that the perpetrators can be immediately arrested and prosecuted again because their actions have disturbed female passengers using the Transjakarta mode of transportation.
