Nicholas Saputra And Putri Marino Play The Architecture Of Love

JAKARTA - The production house Starvision Plus has finally announced the entire cast of The Architecture of Love (TAOL). The film, which is adapted from the novel by Ika Natassa, will unite Nicholas Saputra and Putri Marino as the two main stars.

Please note, the The Architecture of Love project has started since 2020. However, the process had stopped due to the pandemic and could only be continued this year. Teddy Soeriaatmadja will be the director of the script written by Alim Sudio and Ika Natassa.

"When at the beginning I knew this novel, but I never read it. When I read the novel, I saw that there were several multiple multiple stories, something that I was familiar with and the audience was familiar with. The characters are sensitive and genuine, I want to try the amplify in the film," said Teddy Soeriaatmadja at a press conference today, Friday, October 20.

"I'm really happy when I work on Critical Eleven because I see totality in adapting it. We have kept this secret since 2020 and it feels really painful!" added Ika Natassa.

Ika also feels happy because all the players in the film are her image. He is also happy that this line-up of players can be greeted by book fans and viewers.

The players are Nicholas Saputra as River, Putri Marino as Raia, and Williem Bevers, Lydia Kandou, Jeremy Tobing, Agla Artalidia, Arifin Putra, Jihane Almira, Omar Daniel, Jerome Kurnia, Imelda Therine, and many others.

"Happy to have read the book for a long time, so it is believed that playing Raia is very happy to be grateful and will soon start filming," said Putri Marino.

"It's a pride for me to be able to play with the great actors involved in TAOL and work with Teddy and Starvision for the first time too. A new and happy process can be paired with Putri. A great experience," said Nicholas Saputra.

The Architecture of Love (TAOL) tells of Raia, a writer who gets written blocks and leaves for New York. He then meets River, a man who always carries his sketch book. Both have the same goal in New York, namely running away.

At the same time, Starvision also launched a teaser poster showing Nicholas Saputra and Putri Marino facing each other.

The production process for the film TAOL will start at the end of October where 75% are located in New York while the rest are in Jakarta. Starvision plans for the film to be released in 2024.
