Police Arrest 3 Kg Of Shabu Courier In Jambi

JAMBI - The Directorate of Drug Investigation (Ditresnarkoba) of the Jambi Police thwarted the circulation of three kilograms of methamphetamine from a man from North Sumatra.

Head of Sub-Directorate I of the Jambi Police's Narcotics Directorate, Kompol Yudha Lesmana, said the police arrested the perpetrator with the initials BH, a resident of North Sumatra Province and evidence of 3 kilograms of methamphetamine.

The disclosure of the distribution of methamphetamine stems from information on drug trafficking that crosses the Sumatra Cross Road, Sengeti District, Muaro Jambi Regency on Sunday (8/10).

Then at 19.00 WIB, the Jambi Police Narcotics Directorate team searched a car suspected of carrying drugs. Personnel immediately stopped the car and conducted a search.

During a search, the Jambi Regional Police's Narcotics Directorate team found three packs of methamphetamine in a green Chinese tea pack wrapped in a red plastic bag in a blue sebelum.

The police arrested a perpetrator with the initials BH who was known to act as a methamphetamine courier.

"This perpetrator acts as a courier," he said.

Currently, the perpetrator and evidence of methamphetamine have been secured at the Jambi Regional Police for further investigation.
