Fighting When Arrested By Police, Jambret In South Jakarta Was Given A Hot Bullet By Officers
JAKARTA The South Jakarta Metro Police Satreskrim shot a robber with the initials NKM in the leg, for trying to fight back when he was arrested by officers.
The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the South Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Bintoro, explained that his party fired hot bullets because NKM did not heed the officer's warning. Even Bintoro said, the perpetrator's resistance was classified as endangering officers in the field.
"The perpetrators resisted, so it was feared that they would endanger the safety of the officers, so they were given firm and measured action," said AKBP Bintoro to reporters, Tuesday, October 10.
NKM is suspected of being a specialist in snatching cellphones. According to police records, NKM has acted 8 times. 6 times in the South Jakarta area, twice in the East Jakarta area.

Bintor said, the 2 custodians were subject to Article 480 of the Criminal Code with a penalty of 4 years in prison. Meanwhile, the perpetrators of the robbery are subject to Article 363 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 365 of the Criminal Code with a maximum imprisonment of 7 years.
