Hundreds Of Drivers In Tangerang Caught In Tax Raids, Many Are 2 Years Late

TANGERANG - A total of 210 units of two- and four-wheeled vehicles were caught in the Regional Tax Management raid of the One-Stop Manunggal Administration System (Samsat) Cikokol. The average tax has been paid for up to 2 years.

Today as many as 120 vehicles have been caught. Yesterday there were 150 vehicles. So a total of 270 vehicles have not paid taxes. On average, most of these tax arrears are late since 2021," said Head of UPT Samsat Cikokol, Dwi Nopriadi Atma Wijaya to reporters, Thursday, October 5.

Dwi explained that this tax raid only focused on vehicle owners who have license plates for the Karawaci, Cibodas, Tangerang, Jatiuwung, Priuk, Batuceper, Benda, and Neglasari areas.

Therefore, he reminded motorists to pay their taxes on time.

"We are only limited to reminding, because maybe many people don't know the end of their taxes," he said.

Meanwhile, the motorcyclist, Rizal admitted that he was tired, because he was lazy to pay taxes. He was forced to cross this route, because he was tired of turning in the middle of this hot sun.

"The weather is really hot, bro, it's okay, it's been raided. I intend to pay too, I immediately pay arrears for two years at the location," he said.
