Management Gives An Explanation Why LRT Strikes Until All Passengers Are Lowered
JAKARTA - The Jabodebek LRT has been operating normally after experiencing a strike between Cawang and Taman Mini, East Jakarta on Tuesday, October 3.
"It is true that this afternoon the strike between Cawang and Taman Mini was due to a disturbance in facilities. The LRT broke down around 16.20 WIB," said Jabodebek LRT Public Relations Manager, Kuswardoyo to VOI, Tuesday, October 3, evening.
The strike did not last long. Currently, the LRT is running normally again.
"The train that had broken down had been shifted to Taman Mini and all the trips had been running again as usual," he said.
He also confirmed the number of passengers who were deployed in the Cawang area, East Jakarta, the impact of the disturbance.
"That's right (passengers were taken down in Cawang), because the position of the train stopped at the road plot. So the train could not pass through that location, automatically a number of trips were forced to stop," he said.
The accumulation of passengers also occurred at several points. One of them was in Cawang, Dukuh Atas had a buildup of passengers.

Previously, the Jabodebek Cibubur line LRT had problems while operating. As a result, passengers complained and even felt worried because the LRT door could not be closed.
Mega, one of the LRT passengers, explained to VOI that afternoon she was afraid when she boarded the LRT.
Mega complained that the LRT she was traveling in at that time was experiencing a disturbance. He said passengers were asked to get off because the LRT was having problems.
