Reconstruction Of Kidnapping And Murder Of Imam Masykur By 3 Indonesian Army Soldiers, 23 Scenes Shown
JAKARTA - The Military Police (PM) of the Jaya Military Command held a reconstruction of the kidnapping, extortion and mistreatment cases carried out by three Indonesian Army (AD) soldiers against a civilian named Imam Masykur until he died.
The entire series of reconstructions of this case was closed to the media, which was also attended by the families of the victims and their attorneys.

On the same occasion, he explained that no new facts were revealed in the results of the reconstruction, because the series of events demonstrated matched the statements of witnesses, including the victim's mother who was blackmailed by the perpetrators, and another civilian who was also kidnapped and persecuted with Imam Masykur.
He said the perpetrators, namely Praka RM, Praka HS, and Praka J, abused Masykur until he finally died when they crossed the Ciamis toll road. Then, the perpetrators dumped the victim's body in Jatiluhur, until then the community found the victim's body around Karawang.
"Everything is suitable, including (the information) of the survivors as well," said Anwar.
On the same occasion, he explained that the case reconstruction was held at the Military Police Headquarters of Kodam Jaya, due to the effectiveness of time and security.
"Indeed, the crime scene or location is different and very far away. If we carry it out at the TKP, it will actually take time. We cannot run out a day. We also invite the victim's lawyer and related parties such as the oditur, the military attorney general, then from the Information Center of the TNI Headquarters, the Information Service of the Indonesian Army, all invited to witness," he said.

The perpetrators, namely Praka RM, are known to be members of Paspampres, while Praka HS is a member of the Topographic Directorate of the Indonesian Army and Praka J is a member of the Iskandar Muda Regional Military Command.
Masykur is an immigrant who works as a guard at a cosmetic shop in the Rempoa area, South Tangerang, Banten. Imam was kidnapped by the perpetrators on August 12, 2023.
At the time of the incident, to the victim and local residents, the perpetrators claimed to be police officers. Based on the results of an initial examination by the Military Police of Kodam Jaya, the victim is known to be involved in the illegal drug trade.
When kidnapped and persecuted, Imam contacted his family and asked for a ransom of Rp. 50 million.
The victim's voice recording when contacting his family and the video footage of the victim being tortured by the perpetrator was spread on social media. The victim's family reported the kidnapping and torture of Imam to the Polda Metro Jaya. The report was received by the police with the Number STTLP/B/4776/VIII/2023/SPKT.
From the victim's family report to the police, the Military Police of Kodam Jaya started the legal process for the three TNI AD soldiers on August 14, 2023.
