Prosecutor Detainees Died In Jambi Prison, Police Examine 25 Witnesses
Jambi Police examined witnesses in the alleged beating of detainees entrusted by the Prosecutor who eventually died at the Jambi Class II A Correctional Institution (Lapas).
The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Jambi Police, Kompol Indar, said that until now his party had examined as many as 25 witnesses consisting of prison detainees and guards.
"We have examined witnesses, a total of 25 people have been examined," he said in Jambi, Tuesday, September 26, which was confiscated by Antara.
In addition, the local police will also conduct further examinations of witnesses on Wednesday 27 September. In this follow-up examination plan, his party examined the guards or prison officers.

A detainee entrusted by the prosecutor died in Jambi Prison because he was involved in a fight with another detainee on Friday, September 1. The victim was found in a tower block (a special block of a new prisoner) in a bruised condition suspected of being hit.
The victim was named Agus Danil, a resident of Pandan Island, Jambi City. Where the victim was detained because he was caught in Article 363 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code regarding theft.
Previously it was reported that victim Agus was rushed to a hospital in Jambi. Agus died in the hospital after previously still realizing himself when he was at the prison clinic.
The victim was declared dead at around 17.50 WIB.
