A Gang Of Sharp Armed Motorcycle Gangs Arrested During Convoys On The Road

TANGERANG - A total of five teenagers were arrested by the Tangerang City Metro Police for being caught carrying sharp weapons during a motorcycle convoy in the Cibodas area, Saturday, September 23, at 04.00 WIB.

Tangerang City Metro Police Chief, Kombes Zain Dwi Nugroho said the five teenagers were strongly suspected of being involved in a brawl with other groups.

The five teenagers had the initials JS (21), MIP (18), AR (16), HJ (18) and AH (24). They are members of the 2017 Teamorangkeren motorcycle gang, Pesisir21, and the Collantubruk32 alliance.

"The joint Opsnal team managed to secure JS youth (21) along with evidence of 4 sickle and cordek type weapons, clothes used during the convoy and 1 admin cellphone from several motorcycle genks including Teamorangkeren2017, Pesisir21, and the Collantubruk32 alliance," said Zain in his statement, Tuesday, September 26.

Zain explained that the arrest began with his party conducting an investigation until he finally arrested the alleged perpetrator JS. He was arrested along with evidence of sharp weapons.

Furthermore, said Zain, his party developed until finally arrested four other suspected perpetrators.

"From JS's statement, members moved quickly to secure 4 other people," he said.

The former Tangerang Police Chief revealed that in their action they shared roles to facilitate their actions.

"4 other people who played a role in carrying sharp weapons, 1 of whom had the initials HJ (18) acted as Jockey," he said

The perpetrators have been taken to the Jatiuwung Police for further action.
