West Sumbawa Police Name Suspect Of Obscenity Of 3 Children Modes Of Taking To Watch YouTube
The West Sumbawa Police, West Nusa Tenggara, has named a man with the initials H as a suspect in a case of alleged immoral acts of sexual harassment against three children by inviting him to watch YouTube.
"From the results of the investigation case that we carried out for two days related to the alleged immorality, a suspect with the initials H has been determined," said West Sumbawa Police Chief AKBP Yasmara Harahap as reported by ANTARA, Monday, September 25.
The 54-year-old man who became a suspect was arrested at his home.
"So, only today we have arrested based on the determination of the suspect from the results of the case title," he said.
The police handling this alleged sexual harassment case began with a report from one of the victim's parents.
"From the investigation process that we have carried out, evidence has been found that confirms the alleged perpetrators of committing immoral acts against three child-age victims," he said.
The modus operandi of the suspect to commit the depraved act was by inviting the three victims to watch YouTube at his home.
"At that time, the three victims were playing in front of the suspect's house. The suspect took the opportunity by inviting the three victims to play at his house to watch YouTube," said Yasmara.
The victim, who was tempted by the offer, immediately entered the suspect's house. The three of them were led by the suspect into the room. While in the room, the suspect carried out his depraved act.
"After launching the action, each victim was given Rp5,000 and asked not to tell anyone," he said.

From the results of the investigation, it was also revealed that the suspect did not only commit immoral acts against the three victims once.
"According to the victim's confession, the suspect has done it four times," he said.
Investigators have named H as a suspect who is suspected of violating Article 76D in conjunction with Article 81 paragraph (1), paragraph (2) and paragraph (5) in conjunction with Article 76E in conjunction with Article 82 paragraph (1) and paragraph (4) of Law Number 17 of 2016 concerning Stipulation of Government Regulation in Lieu of Law Number 1 of 2016 concerning the Second Amendment to Law Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection jo. Article 6 letter c of Law Number 12 of 2002 concerning Criminal Acts of Sexual Violence in conjunction with Article 64 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code.
