Bakar Ban Student Elements In The Horse Statue Area Regarding The BTS Kominfo Corruption Case
JAKARTA - Student elements held a demonstration in front of the Indosat building, the Monas Horse Statue area, Gambir District, Central Jakarta, Monday, September 25, noon.
The demonstration was held in connection with the corruption case of Bakti Kominfo by the former Minister of Communication and Information Johnny G Plate Cs. A number of students who rallied also burned tires as a form of their protest to the government.
A group of students who took to the streets questioned the President Director of PT Lintasarta, Arya Damar, and the Director of Commerce/Commercial of PT Aplikanusa Lintasarta, Alfi Asman, as a consortium of 3 BTS 4G Bakti packages who had witnessed the Corruption trial at the Central Jakarta District Court last Tuesday, August 29.
In his oration, an orator through a loudspeaker said, in the Minutes of Investigation (BAP) at the trial, Arya and the ranks of the company's Directors agreed in the discussion of the board of directors meeting at the end of 2020 to provide a 10 percent fee in the BTS Bhakti Kominfo 4G Project.

"Currently, Lintaarta is a party that is detrimental to the government in the 4G Kominfo BTS project, which according to the BPKP audit, has reached 8 trillion state losses," said one of the action orators at the Horse Statue, Central Jakarta, Monday, September 25.
Meanwhile, a number of police personnel who were at the location continued to guard the proceedings of the demonstration. Demonstrations were also attended by other elements of society, including workers.
Meanwhile, the West Merdeka Street area towards the Palace was blocked by concrete and barbed wire by the police.
