PDIP Secretary General Hasto Regarding Ganjar's Vice Presidential Candidate: Under Study, Just Wait For Momentum

Secretary General of the PDI-P (PDIP) Hasto Kristiyanto said the candidate for vice president (cawapres) assistant to Ganjar Pranowo is being studied. This figure is certain to be announced in a momentum deemed appropriate by PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri

"Regarding who will accompany Pak Ganjar, he has undergone an in-depth study, just waiting for the right momentum to be announced by Megawati," Hasto told reporters in Gorontalo as quoted from his written statement, Friday, September 22.

Meanwhile, regarding the issue of Ganjar being paired with Prabowo Subianto in the 2024 presidential election, Hasto ensured that the position of the former Governor of Central Java remained as a presidential candidate (candidate) who had received support from PPP, Hanura, Perindo apart from PDIP.
