Danpuspom TNI Claims Not To Know There Are Officers Meeting Detainees On The 15th Floor Of The KPK Building
JAKARTA - The Commander of the Central Military Police (Danpuspom) TNI, Marshal Muda Agung Handoko, claimed that he did not know that there was a meeting between an officer and the suspect in the alleged bribery case management on the 15th floor of the KPK's Red and White building.
The statement was made in response to the statement by KPK Deputy Chairman Alexander Marwata who said the suspect went up to the 15th floor not meeting the leader but a TNI officer. The incident occurred when the TNI group came to the KPK after the Head of the National SAR Agency (Basarnas) Marshal Henri Alfiandi became a suspect.
At that time, the TNI who was present were Danpuspom TNI Marshal Muda Handoko, Kapuspen TNI Rear Admiral Julius Widjojono, Kababinkum TNI Rear Admiral Kresno Buntoro, Deputy Attorney General for Military Crimes Major General Wahyoedho Indrajit, and Oditur General TNI Rear Admiral Nazali Lempo.
"During the meeting I attended, I only discussed Marsdya HA. Apart from that, there was nothing," Agung told reporters, Friday, September 22.
Agung also admitted that he did not know who the officer asked to meet the detainees like Alexander said.
As previously reported, Alexander Marwata emphasized that there was no meeting between detainees of alleged corruption in case management at the Supreme Court (MA) and the KPK leadership. He said that there were TNI officers who held meetings on the 15th floor.

Alexander initially explained that this incident had something to do with tensions between the KPK and the TNI after the appointment of the Head of the National SAR Agency (Basarnas) Marshal Henri Alfiandi as a suspect. The two institutions also held closed meetings after the determination was carried out.
"Based on the situation at that time, when the meeting was over, one of the officers said that one of the suspects was detained at the Red and White KPK (Rutan, ed) and the person concerned asked permission to meet," Alexander told reporters at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Thursday, September 21.
Alexander admitted that he forgot whether to allow the meeting to take place on the 15th floor or the leadership room. He also did not know whether the TNI members had met.
"Because after that I immediately went home," he said.
Even so, Alexander had asked the Acting Deputy for Enforcement and Execution of the KPK Asep Guntur to issue detainees in accordance with applicable regulations.
