During DCT Emergence, Political Parties Are Allowed To Change The Name Of Babeleg
DIY - The General Election Commission (KPU) of the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) said political parties (political parties) still have the opportunity to replace future legislative candidates (bacaleg).
The replacement is still possible to be submitted during the funeral of the 2024 Election Fixed Candidates List (DCT) with the period from September 24 to October 3, 2023.
"It can still be repaired or amended by political parties during the funeral period," said Head of the Technical Division of the DIY KPU, Zainuri Ikhsan, in Yogyakarta, Wednesday, September 20, as reported by Antara.
In addition to being able to change the name of the proposed leg, said Ikhsan, each political party participating in the 2024 General Election is allowed to shift or change the electoral district (dapil), including changing the Babileg serial number.
However, he said, the replacement of balaleg must be based on the approval of the central leadership of each political party.
Ikhsan said that there have been a number of political parties consulting with the DIY KPU regarding the replacement mechanism, the resignation of the leg, to the addition of the leg title.
"It is still limited to informal consultations, later during a coordination meeting with political parties we will convey," he said.

Regarding the preparation for the DIY DPRD DIST funeral, the 2024 General Election, according to Ikhsan, the DIY KPU will still hold a coordination meeting with the Indonesian KPU to clarify the mechanism for improving the Babileg data and identity covering the names, to adding titles.
Responses or notes from the public during the announcement of the provisional candidate list (DCS), according to him, could be the object of burial, especially if the response indicates that the leg is not eligible (TMS).
"At the DIY level there was no response, there was a response from the community in Sleman and Kulon Progo Regencies," he said.
Ikhsan said as many as 681 candidates for the DIY DPRD who were previously included in the 2024 Election Prospective List (DCS) had been announced from August 19 to August 28, 2023, consisting of 393 men and 288 women.
