Just 2 Hours Attending The Emission Test, Bogor Regent Sees 2 Cars Directly From The Regency Government Service Not Passing The Test
Bogor Regent Iwan Setiawan found two official vehicles belonging to the Bogor Regency Government (Pemkab) that did not pass the emission test.
The findings when Iwan only saw two hours of the emission test at Pakansari Stadium, Cibinong, Bogor, today. He found two red plate vehicles with emissions above the threshold.
"Today, for the time being (emission testing) which is within the local government, it turns out that in the local government there are several official cars that did not pass," said Iwan, confiscated by Antara.
According to him, according to the results of tracing the drivers, the two cars apparently often consume Pertalite subsidized fuel with an octane value of 90 alias wrong consumption of the type of fuel oil (BBM).
In fact, said Iwan, all official vehicles belonging to the government are not allowed to consume subsidized fuel. He also appealed to the Bogor Regency Government Civil Apparatus (ASN) to always fill official vehicles with Pertamax type fuel which has an octane value of 92.
"All state-owned vehicles must be Pertamax, now the impact looks like after the emission test many vehicles are good but do not pass, when checked and asked the driver, it turned out that (the cause) was the use of fuel," he said.
He did not deny that weak supervision was the cause of several official vehicles that consumed subsidized fuel.

This amount, he said, is 50 percent of the total number of vehicles belonging to the Bogor Regency Government. Meanwhile, the rest of the vehicles will be emission testing in the future.
"We are working with the Transportation Agency (Dinas Perhubungan) and the Police in organizing this emission test," he said.
He said the vehicle emission test carried out was also a follow-up to the circular letter of the Minister of Home Affairs Number 2 of 2023 concerning air pollution control in the Jabodetabek area.
