81-Year-Old Grandmother In Gorontalo Burned To Death After Her House Was Devoured By Fire
A semi-permanent house fire on the Island of Dudepo Village, Anggrek District, North Gorontalo Regency, Gorontalo Province, killed an 81-year-old grandmother. North Gorontalo Police Chief Andik Gunawan in Gorontalo District, Wednesday said the incident had been handled by his party. The fire broke out at around 21.00 WITA on Tuesday, allegedly due to a short circuit in the power grid. The house was burned to the ground without any remnant, as well as burning a resident named Aini Noho (81).This incident occurred in Upo Hamlet, Dudepo Island, Anggrek District. A hamlet in one of the inhabited islands of a total of 52 islands in this district. The witness who saw the incident was named Johan Toto (62) a farmer and Santi Adiko (50) as well as a farmer. The head of the hamlet immediately reported to the head of Dudepo Village, then local residents went to the scene and found a grandmother who caught fire. The reports of the local community's source of the fire were not known to have come from where, because the location of the victim's house with his neighbors was less than 1 kilometer away and had to pass through four residents' gardens surrounded by hills.
