KPK CONTINUES To Schedule Inspections Even Though Cak Imin Admits He Is Out Of The City Today
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is still waiting for the presence of Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin today, Tuesday, September 5. He plans to be examined as a witness in the corruption case in the procurement of the Indonesian labor protection system (TKI) at the Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker).
This was conveyed by the Head of the KPK News Section, Ali Fikri, who said that the General Chairperson of the National Justice Party (PKB) would be questioned at 10.00 WIB. It is certain that there has been no change in schedule by investigators to date.
"The investigative team has scheduled a summons and examination as a witness on behalf of Muhaimin Iskandar, a member of the Indonesian House of Representatives to attend the KPK's Red and White Building at 10.00 WIB," Ali told reporters, Tuesday, September 5.
Ali ensured that the summons had been delivered properly on August 31. However, Cak Imin, who never gave confirmation of his presence.
"So far, we have obtained no confirmation from the person concerned regarding his presence," he said.
Meanwhile, Cak Imin admitted that he actually wanted to fulfill the summons from the anti-corruption commission to investigate the alleged corruption that occurred when he served as Minister of Manpower. However, he had already had another event out of town. Previously, the KPK said there were three suspects who were named in the corruption case at the Ministry of Manpower.
