Rina Kosasih Examined By KPK Regarding Investigation Of Alleged Corruption At PT Taspen

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is currently investigating allegations of corruption at PT Taspen. The KPK has begun to clarify to parties deemed to be aware of alleged criminal acts.

This was revealed by the ex-wife of the President Director (Managing Director) of PT Taspen Antonius Nicholas Stephanus Kosasih, Rina Lauwy Kosasih who visited the KPK's Merah Putih building, Friday, September 1.

"I was present at the KPK to fulfill an invitation from the KPK to answer several questions and clarify that there was an investigation into alleged corruption at PT Taspen for the period 2018 to 2022," Rina told reporters at the KPK's Red and White House, South Jakarta.

Rina did not want to go into details about her request for clarification. However, she said the alleged riot occurred when her ex-husband took office.

"Indeed, what is being investigated is the period 2018 to 2022, where Pak Kosasih has indeed entered PT Taspen, has served as the investment director, then becomes the president director," said Rina.

He admitted that this allegation is still at the investigation stage. In his summons, no suspects were attached.

Even so, when asked for information he had submitted 39 bank statements to investigators. Some belonged to her ex-husband.

"There was also a question whether I received a lot of money, I said no, it's been since the first time I did refuse," he said.

Meanwhile, it was confirmed separately that the Head of the KPK News Section, Ali Fikri, only responded that there was no investigation related to the alleged corruption at PT Taspen. "It's not on the investigation schedule," he said.

For information, the KPK has never conveyed any investigations that are being carried out. This process usually occurs behind closed doors, in contrast to during the investigation.
