Allegedly Giving Money To Internal Officials At Basarnas Investigated By KPK
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is investigating allegations of giving money from private parties to officials at the National SAR Agency (Basarnas). It was the Director of CV Delima Mandiri, William Widarta who was questioned by investigators.
Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri said William was summoned on Monday, August 28 in connection with the corruption case in the procurement of transport trucks in 2014. He was questioned at the KPK's Merah Putih building.
"The witness was present and investigated the alleged participation of witness companies in the auction activities at Basarnas. It was also confirmed that there was an alleged provision and flow of money from the private sector to several internal officials at Basarnas," Ali told reporters, Tuesday, August 29.
In addition, the KPK is also investigating the stages of the project auction at Basarnas. This allegation was investigated by examining civil servants (PNS) who are also commitment-making officials (PPK) Ari Mustofa.

Previously reported, the KPK investigated allegations of corruption in Basarnas related to the procurement of goods. This case is said to have cost the state tens of billions of rupiah.
Currently, the anti-corruption commission has not announced the suspects in this case because the search for evidence is still ongoing. However, they have prevented three people from leaving the country.
The three people who were prevented were former Sestama Basarnas Max Rudand Boseke; PPK Basarnas Anjar Sulistiyono; and Director of CV Delima Mandiri, William Widarta. This prevention was carried out by the Directorate General of Immigration at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights until December 2023 and could be extended for six months according to the needs of investigators.
