Peningkatan Transaksi Pajak Via Digital Dongkrak Bisnis E-commerce

JAKARTA The increase in tax transactions through digital channels is said to have helped increase the e-commerce business.

Based on the results of a survey conducted by Jakpat, it was found that 80 percent of respondents paid the PBB through the virtual sales service provider.

Meanwhile, 58 percent chose to pay through modern and traditional retailers and 56 percent chose to make PBB payments through banks, including m-banking and internet banking.

Deputy I for Local and Financial Economic Coordination Ferry Irawan said this data was in line with the government's efforts to encourage the Regional Digital Acceleration and Expansion Program (P2DD).

"Digitalisasi pembayaran pajak melalui digital juga turut mendorong pendapatan daerah," ujarnya dalam keterangan tertulis dikutip Jumat, 25 Agustus.

According to Ferry, the tax realization data for the first semester of 2023 is known that the value of the digital platform transaction of the United Nations reaches IDR 5.5 trillion.

As for the Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB) worth IDR 22.7 trillion.

"For this reason, we continue to provide support, including strengthening regulations through the stipulation of PP 35 Number 2023 concerning General Provisions for Regional Taxes and Regional Retribution," he said.

Ferry said the regulation contained provisions that encourage digitization of local government transactions.

The PP has also been described in the form of technical regulations at the ministerial and regional levels.

"Every year, the National Coordination Meeting (Rakornas) is held in the context of consolidating the central-regional work program to encourage the P2DD policy. The National Coordination Meeting is led by the president of the Republic of Indonesia," he said.

In detail, the Jakpat survey also noted that e-commerce and e-wallet platforms are the most trusted services to pay digital taxes with a percentage of 48 percent.

Followed by payments through modern/traditional retail with 27 percent and payments through banks with 25 percent.

This can also be seen from one e-commerce, namely Tokopedia, which noted that the value of transactions through the online UN feature increased by almost 50 percent in the first quarter of 2023 compared to the first quarter of 2022.
