Based on the information from the Riau Manpower Office team who had gone to the company, on Wednesday (16/8) 2023 at 03.10 WIB there was a work accident in the PKS Process Department where the victim worked.
The victims were Robbi Rahmansyah and M Firmansyah Panjaitan. Robbi is opening the top door of sterilizer number 01, with the sterilizer position still under pressure of around 0.7 bars and when the door opens suddenly the oil or hot vapor from the sterilizer overflows. Then hit Robbi and Firmansyah Panjaitan.
It's just that Firmansyah's position at the back of the stelizer 1 door caused steam/hot oil to fall and result in a 54 percent burns injury. Meanwhile, Robbi, who opened the door, suffered a 12 percent burns.
