BENGKULU - The Department of Agriculture and Fisheries (Distankan) of Rejang Lebong Regency said 20 animal health workers in Rejang Lebong had been given the anti-rabies (VAR) vaccine.
"Alhamdulillah, all of our vaccinators in the field have been given the anti-rabies vaccine, this VAR was given at the Rejang Lebong Health Service two weeks ago," said Head of Rejang Lebong, Zulkarnain, in Rejang Lebong, Bengkulu, Tuesday, August 15, which was confiscated by Antara.
He explained that the vaccinators that had been given by VAR consisted of veterinarians and veterinary health workers with a total of 20 people.
This vaccination, he continued, was given to them because the risk in carrying out their duties was high enough so they had to be anticipated so that they would not be infected because they were bitten by animals or rabies-contagious animals (HPR) while carrying out their duties.
