THE BLACKLABLE Apologizes About Plagiarism In Jeon Somi's Music Video
JAKARTA - The BLACKLABLE Agency released an apology for alleged plagiarism in Jeon Somi's music video. This week, the 22-year-old singer released the mini album GAME PLAN with the main track, Fast Forward.
In three days of release, netizens found one of the scenes, namely the animated character in the Fast Forward video, similar to the character in the manga Rusei Yatsura created by Rumiko Takahashi. Netizens suspect that the animated character was made by tracing or copied directly.
THE BLACKLABLE then released a statement that they immediately discussed the news that was getting busy on social media.

"We immediately discussed and we decided to delete or change the scene in question," he said.
The agency also plans to change animated scenes to fix the situation. Furthermore, they apologized for what made this video viewed negatively.
"We sincerely apologize for the fact that our agency is not paying attention to production carefully and giving you concern," the agency said.
"In the future, we will be more careful to avoid incidents like this happening again. Thank you," he said.
Somi marked his latest comeback with a new mini album titled GAME PLAN after two years. The Fast Forward music video released on August 7 has been watched 25 million since its first release.
