Korlantas Launches SIM Making Testbook, Affirms Transparency

JAKARTA - The Traffic Corps (Korlantas) of the National Police launched a book containing questions that were tested by theory for the manufacture of a driving license (SIM). The goal is that people can study it and easily pass the test.

Korlantas juga telah mengganti pola angka 8 dan zig-zag dengan jalur huruf S pada tes praktik untuk sepeda motor.

"Here, there are several kinds of questions that will be exactly tested," said Head of Traffic Police Inspector General Firman Shantyabudi to reporters, Friday, August 4.

The book contains the exam questions and will be available electronically (ebooks). So, people only need to download it if they want to study it.

In addition, the book is also printed. Then, spread in public places.

"Now we will serve the SIM C and SIM A theory exam books, later in the future, hopefully SIM B1 and B2 via e-book can be seen in it, starting from traffic knowledge to examples of questions," he said.

Firman said that during the exam there would be 65 questions taken from the book. All of them are about the driving situation, either two or four wheels.

"There will be situations faced and what to do and answer properly, there will be stops, brakes, reduces speed, installs sein, and so on," he said.

With the book showing the Police are transparent in the process of making SIMs. In fact, it makes it easier for people to get a driving license.

"This means that we want to convey this is a form of transparency from us Korlantas that nothing is secret in traffic. In fact, all people must know what to do," said Firman.
