Two Defendants In Fraud And Theft Cases Get Restorative Justice At The West Jakarta Prosecutor's Office
JAKARTA - After being mediated, the defendants in cases of fraud and theft named Rahman Ishak and Ridwan underwent restorative justice or were released from the West Jakarta District Attorney (Kejari).
"The West Jakarta District Attorney has exposed the Restorative Justice case for criminal acts of fraud," West Jakarta District Attorney Iwan Ginting told reporters, Thursday, August 3.
Furthermore, Iwan said, initially the case occurred when the two defendants were riding a motorcycle. Then, the two suspects saw the victim playing with his cellphone beside the road.

"Because he believed the suspect's words, the victim handed over his cellphone," he said.
Not long ago, Rahman, who was sitting behind a motorbike, then gave a code by showing the suspect Ridwan Arifin to escape immediately. Meanwhile, the victim, who knew about the perpetrator's movements, immediately shouted and caused the two perpetrators to be arrested by residents. After that, the perpetrators were arrested and entered the P21 stage.
Instead of punishing, Iwan actually provided restorative justice for the first reason, the victim felt sorry for the two perpetrators. This is because Rahman Ishak is known to work odd jobs and must support one child.
Meanwhile, Ridwan Arifin has a 2-year-old child and has a three-month rented arrears.
