Ganjar Greets Hundreds Of Pedicab Drivers In Bogor Long Distance, Prays For Everyone Healthy
JAKARTA - The PDI-P Presidential Candidate Ganjar Pranowo held a long-distance dialogue via video phone calls (video calls) with hundreds of pedicab drivers in Bogor, West Java, Sunday 30 July. "I pray that we are all healthy, everyone is healthy, everyone is united. Hopefully this will be a support for all of us," said Ganjar quoted by ANTARA, Sunday 30 July. This was conveyed by Ganjar on the sidelines of the declaration of hundreds of pedicab drivers in the Bogor City House of Representatives (DPRD) office. They declared their support for Ganjar as a presidential candidate (candidate) in the upcoming 2024 Presidential Election. A statement of support was conveyed directly by the pedicabic drivers via video phone connection (video call) to Ganjar Pranowo. "This morning the event happened to be a consolidation of the friendship from the Bogor City Pospera. We also involved all the pedicablists in Bogor, because this was also the event for Pak Ganjar, because we brought them for the purpose to fully support Pak Ganjar," said the representatives of the pedicab driver, Marzuki. He said Ganjar also expressed his gratitude for the support of the pedicabk drivers in Bogor. "Mr. Ganjar said that he was grateful for our support. Earlier via video call, so the immediate audience of the pedicab driver," he said. One of the representatives of the pedicab named Ajun, asked Ganjar to imitate President Jokowi who remained populist if elected as president later. He and other pedicabers are ready to support Ganjar. "We are ready to support and win Pak Ganjar from every point pedicaber in Bogor. We hope that also when Mr. Ganjar was elected, please be social. For example, Mr. Jokowi now, he wants to go down to the field and shake with the pedicabker and share with the pedicabker," he said. Based on the schedule set by the General Election Commission (KPU) RI, the registration of presidential and vice presidential candidates is scheduled to start on October 19 to November 25, 2023.
