Residents Of Fire Victims In Legok Jambi Receive Money Assistance From City Government Rp1 Million
JAMBI - Jambi City Government (Pemkot) handed over cash assistance to fire victims in Legok Village, Sipin Lake in the local area.Mayor Syarif Fasha said the assistance came from the Jambi Peduli City program which was the result of donations from the Jambi City Government, the business world and the general public, which were collected through the Jambi City Cares Social Account."We provide assistance from the Jambi Peduli City account, in the form of cash amounting to Rp. 1 million per head of the family for the current grip," he said in Jambi, Antara, Sunday, July 30.Fasha explained that in the near future there will be assistance from the City Government in the form of cash for construction assistance for houses that have run out. Because the residents' houses burned down due to the fire that occurred on Thursday (27/7).Fasha emphasized that the assistance was a form of concern for the City Government and the community for Legok residents who were hit by the disaster.Fasha also invited other people to help the Legok community who got the disaster.The Jambi City Government is internally collecting donations sourced from all ASN and Non-ASN throughout the OPD and BUMD ranks of the Jambi City Government. The donation will be distributed to Legok residents in the near future.Through the Jambi City Dukcapil Service and the Jambi City Education and Training Center, the City Government will also go down to the field to check ID cards, retinal biometric examinations, for the immediate re-issue of the identity cards of the residents who caught fire. Likewise, for the Ijazah of the burning residents, recommendations will be given, as well as replacement of diplomas.
The fire that hit the Legok settlement leveled 33 housing units inhabited by 38 families. The Jambi City Social Service together with the Jambi City Fire and Rescue Service responded by building public kitchens and emergency shelter tents for residents.
