Wow! PlayStation 5 Already Exceeds 40 Million Sales

JAKARTA - Since its debut in November 2020, Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced that its PlayStation 5 console has surpassed more than 40 million sales.

Despite experiencing some obstacles due to the COVID-19 pandemic that has occurred around the world, the company was able to get through it, even though it had to take months.

"We continue to face obstacles with the pandemic, and it will take months for the supply chain to become normal so we can have an inventory to meet demand," said Jim Ryan, President & CEO, Sony Interactive in a statement.

According to Ryan, the PS5 was launched with the best game catalog in Sony's history, from innovative indie games to AAA blockbusters, now there are more than 2,500 PS5 games available there.

"This is the best time to try PS5 In the last two months alone, we have seen incredible new games from our partners, including Final Fantasy XVI, Diablo IV, and Street Fighter 6," he added.

Since its launch, Sony has also presented the PS5 assessment, which allows gamers to suit their wishes with a variety of different colors for DualSense wireless controllers and PS5 console covers.

"This assessment proved to be very popular because the players wanted their PS5 to reflect their tastes," Ryan concluded.
