JAPFA Strengthens Downstream Business Segment

JAKARTA - PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk (JAPFA) has again participated in the largest food and beverage exhibition Food & Hotel Indonesia (FHI) at the Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo), Kemayoran.

In the expo which took place from July 25 to 28, 2023, JAPFA introduced its new entity in the downstream business segment and JAPFA animal protein product marketing, namely JAPFA Food. Through JAPFA Food, JAPFA bridges customers and potential customers to get access to various quality products from the JAPFA group. In this series of FHI 2023 Exhibitions, JAPFA Food targets the food service segment, by offering technology that facilitates food service entrepreneurs such as frozen-to-fry, ready-to-eat, and various products with other added value, which aims to facilitate preparation in the kitchen of food service business actors.

With innovation in food technology, JAPFA can create frozen-to-fry products that are not inferior to the food manufacturing process based on orders (ala minutes) in general. The difference is, the advantage of the JAPFA frozen-to-fry product is that it can make the cooking preparation process faster and easier with more quality maintained. Rachmat Indrajaya, Corporate Affairs Director of JAPFA said, the presence of JAPFA Food is a business solution offered to partners to obtain various choices of animal protein products with the best quality that are comprehensive and integrated.

"We hope that by offering more complete protein product solutions, stronger food and R&D technology, as well as customization from the kitchen central, JAPFA can further strengthen services to the food service segment," said Rachmat, in his statement, Thursday, July 27.

Meanwhile, Melvany Kasih, Deputy Head of SBU Consumer Go Direct Indonesia, said the concept of Farm to Fork which was promoted illustrates how his party obtained and produced quality animal protein products from upstream to downstream levels.
