Pangkoopsud III: Indonesian Air Force Facilities Are Prohibited For Political Activities In The 2024 Election
PAPUA - Commander of Air Operations Command III (Pangkoopsud) Young Air Marshal Donald Kasenda emphasized that all facilities belonging to the Indonesian Air Force are prohibited for political activities in the 2024 General Election.
The Commander of Koopsud III Marsda TNI, Donald Kasenda said the effort was to maintain the attitude of TNI neutrality at the five-year democratic party.
"I make sure that Indonesian Air Force soldiers within the scope of Biak Air Operations Command III will be neutral and cannot support any candidate or party facing the 2024 political year," he said after opening the 76th Indonesian Air Force social service in Biak, Papua, Wednesday, July 26, which was confiscated by Antara.
Marsda Kasenda emphasized that the attitude of maintaining the neutrality of Indonesian Air Force soldiers was in accordance with direct orders from the TNI Commander and the leaders of the Indonesian Air Force Headquarters and Pangkoopsud III.
Kasenda said he would impose strict sanctions for Indonesian Air Force soldiers if they were proven to be involved in practical political activities in facing simultaneous elections on February 14, 2024.
He emphasized that if there are soldiers who support the Indonesian Air Force, it will be processed in accordance with applicable legal provisions.
"Because it has always been called the Indonesian Air Force that must be neutral and must not elect or side with any candidates or political parties in the 2024 General Election," he said.
