Japan Open 2023, 9 Indonesian Representatives Appear On The Second Day Of The First Round
JAKARTA The first round of the Japan Open 2023 will continue today. The following is the schedule of nine Indonesian representatives who will try to add tickets to the second round.
The second day of the BWF Super 750 level competition was held at Yoyogi Gymnasium, Tokyo, Japan, Wednesday, July 26, 2023. The match will start at 08.00 WIB.
On the first day Tuesday, July 25, yesterday Indonesia managed to send three representatives to the second round of six representatives who were fighting. The three tickets were obtained by the women's singles Gregoria Mariska Tunjung, singles Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo, and men's doubles Hendra Setiawan/Mohammad Ahsan.
Today, Wednesday 26 July, the men's doubles, two mixed doubles, two men's singles, and one women's doubles will play.
In doubles, the young couple Rolly Carnando / Daniel Marthin will face the tough opponents of the Satwiksairaj Rankireddy / Chirag Shetty who are the third seeds.
The first seed Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto will also appear. The world number one pair will face the Chinese pair He Ji Ting/Zhou Hao Dong.
Then the two men's singles Jonatan Christie and Anthony Sinisuka Ginting will also play today. Jonathan will face Cheam June Wei (Malaysia), while Anthony is challenged by the Japanese representative, Kenta Tsuneyama.
Furthermore, the mixed doubles Dejan Ferdinansyah/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja will also face representatives from the hosts, Kyohei Yamashita/Naru Shinoya.
