Elf Truck Collision On Sragen Toll Road, 3 People Died-10 People Injured

SRAGEN - A traffic accident between the Isuzu Elf minibus and a Mitsubishi Fuso truck occurred on the Solo-Ngawi Toll Road Km 518,800 lane B, precisely in Karangmalang Village, Sragen Regency, Central Java. As a result, three people were killed and 10 others were injured.

According to the Head of Gakkum, Sragen Police Traffic Unit, Iptu Irwan Marfiyanto, the accident between Isuzu Elf, number M 7379 V and truck Nopol AB 8673 OD occurred on the Solo-Ngawi Toll Road Km 518,800 lane B in Sragen, at around 14:15 WIB.

Three victims died and 10 injured have been taken to hospital.

The traffic accident started with Mitsubishi Fuso truck number AB 8673 OD and Isuzu Elf number M 7379 V with 13 passengers, walking in the same direction from Ngawi to Solo. Where the Mitsubishi Fuso truck position runs in front and Isuzu Elf behind it.

At the scene of the incident, it was suspected that the driver of Isuzu Elf lacked concentration and did not pay attention to the situation in front of him. When the distance was close and could not escape, Isuzu Elf hit the back of the Mitsubishi Fuso truck.

"As a result of the incident, three victims died from an Isuzu Elf vehicle that crashed into a Mitsubishi Fuso truck. Two victims died at the RD Moewardi Hospital in Solo and the other at the hospital in Sragen," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, June 27.

He explained that the identities of the three victims were Huda, a resident of Sumenep Madura and Sito, a resident of Sukoharjo.

Meanwhile, 10 injured people were treated at Dr Moewardi Hospital Solo and another died at a hospital in Sragen, Aldo, a resident of Sumenep Madura.

The police then conducted a crime scene investigation to determine the cause of the traffic accident which caused two victims to die at the scene and one victim died in hospital and 10 others were injured and hospitalized.

His party appealed to motorists to be careful when crossing the Solo-Ngawi Toll Road and be aware of the maximum speed limit of 80 km per hour because it is prone to accidents.
