Neymar Has Problems In Brazil!
JAKARTA A soccer star from Brazil, Neymar Jr, is again facing problems. The construction of his property in Brazil does not have an environmental permit.
The consequences of the project, which is referred to as the "big reconstruction" of the state of Rio de Janeiro, were stopped by the authorities on Thursday. The project is considered to have violated the environment which could result in a fine of around US$1 million or around Rp15 billion.
The project, which took place "without an environmental permit" on the luxury property owned by Paris Saint-Germain players, was carried out in Mangariba or about 130 kilometers from Rio de Janeiro.
Authorities, who were notified by complaints posted on social media, found "various environmental violations", including diversion of waterways, and unlicensed water extraction from rivers.
They also found illegal excavations and removal of land, rocks, and rocks, as well as the use of beach sand without permission.
"The next step is to assess the irregularities found and impose fines that, according to estimates and given the environmental damage caused, will not be less than five million reais (approximately 1 million US Dollars)," the local mayor's office said.
