Daniel Radcliffe Denies Becoming A Cameo In The Harry Potter Series
JAKARTA - Harry Potter will be made in a serial format as Warner Bros. announced last April. However, this series was created without the involvement of its old players, one of which is Daniel Radcliffe as the main character of Harry Potter.
In his latest interview, Radcliffe denied the rumors that he would appear as a cameo in the series. He also thought the idea sounded strange especially since the series rebooted the franchise.
"Of course from everything I read about the series he said they would start new and of course it would be strange if I suddenly got there," Daniel Radcliffe quoted Deadline as saying.
"I think Harry Potter is destined to be like Holmes... so it's always continued. I think out there there are eight-year-olds whose lives will change in the years to come," Radcliffe explained.
In addition, the 33-year-old actor feels that the continuation or development of Harry Potter is not his domain. However, he always respects the franchise that catapulted his name.

The continuous film or series, in this case, is inevitable. Harry Potter will always be something that continues. The literary phenomenon is too big to stop with the series of films we make," he said.
"So I always knew something like this would happen. It feels good to continue this story with other people," said Daniel Radcliffe.
Harry Potter is one of the confirmed franchises to be adapted in serial format. In addition, Warner Bros. also announced that The Conjuring was made in a similar format.
Harry Potter is a cultural phenomenon and there is a longing for Wizarding World. In collaboration with Warner Bros. and JK ROwling, this original series will follow his iconic book that fans love," said Casey Bloys of HBO Max.
JK Rowling, Neil Blair, Ruth Kenley-Letts and David Heyman, which produced eight films from the franchise, also produced the serial version. The plan is for the series to air on HBO Max.
