Manchester United Is Already Heading In The Right Way With Erik Ten Hag, Casemiro Said
JAKARTA - Manchester United has not fully risen. However, Erik ten Hag's club is already heading in the right direction.
Brazilian midfielder Casemiro feels this way. According to him, the Red Devils are now developing better.
"It's true that we are on the right track. We are on top and we grew up as a team," said Casemiro.
In his first season playing for Manchester United, Casemiro was almost the first choice under Ten Hag in every team game in the entire competition with a total of 51 appearances.
He also contributed seven goals in his first season with four in the English Premier League (EPL), two in the FA Cup, and one in the English Football League (EFL) or League Cup.
Casemiro's positive score this season also brought the Reds Devils to a trophy, namely the League Cup and also secured one Champions League ticket next season for finishing in third place in the English Premier League (EPL) final standings with 75 points.
Meanwhile, when he won the League Cup, Casemiro scored one of his team's goals in a 2-0 win against Newcastle United.

"I believe that we understand the mentality of the manager and the way he wants us to play. It's true, in terms of football, it's very good, not at the beginning, we already have our own philosophy, but when we talk about football it's difficult because the manager is relatively new," said the former Real Madrid player.
Casemiro believes MU can achieve success in the future as experienced by Manchester City, Liverpool, and Chelsea is in the hands of Ten Hag. However, regarding this, he said, the achievement was not instant and took time.
"We've been with one season together. We know that other teams also need time to start winning things, such as Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea, which also need time to start winning things with their other managers," said the 31-year-old footballer.
"We follow the manager's ideas and philosophy, so we have to keep going step by step, grow and develop gradually."
"Of course, next season, it will also be very important for us to continue this growth."
